I just had my LS2 heads off and took the opportunity to run fittings and hoses from the back to help with coolant flow. The LS2 steam pipe has a groove for the O-ring. You may have to round up an LS2 steam pipe.

It really should be at the highest part of the return, which is the upper hose, or water pump discharge, as that is the water coming out of the engine.

11.07.2015· It just needs to fit over the nipples. You can probably find a heavy duty type of hose (you know with the string inside the rubber) I want to say it''s 3/8" but can''t remeer, but just make sure it''s not just a piece of vacuum hose, it needs to be able to hold up to the heat.
